black hole.

I've been sucked into the black hole of work during the busy season. Late nights and then trying to do every chore and errand I put off during the week on the weekend. Its exhausting. Last Saturday had hints of spring and I couldn't resist playing with my new lens (I got it for my birthday but haven't had any time to use it). Rich played with his mountain bike in the yard and I enjoyed the evening sun on the deck.
Hopefully I'll be back soon.

  1. I know the drill, and then the weekends just fly by and everything starts over again on monday and it gets exhausting!
What new lens did you get? :3 I recently got a 35mm for my Nikon, and love it to pieces.

  2. No joke, this is pretty much what I'm wearing today minus the beanie. What lens did you get? I've been looking at getting a new one but am still sizing up a few different ones.

  5. Nice! Stripes FTW. Rich got me a 28mm f/1.8 for my birthday. I have unfortunately not gotten to use it much but so far I love it. I'm a huge fan of prime lenses.

  6. Nice! I love my 35mm but on my camera, since its not full frame, it acts like a 50mm. The 28mm I got acts a bit more like a 35mm. So I have a good balance. Both are great for indoor low light :)
